MediaPlucker — Terms and End User Licence Agreement (EULA) Local development draft 0.13.8; terms dated 6 November 2026. Terms: https://mediaplucker.com/terms Privacy: https://mediaplucker.com/privacy Contact: contact@mediaplucker.com MediaPlucker is free at launch. No account or payment is required. 1. Using MediaPlucker MediaPlucker is a proprietary browser extension and website, free to use at launch. No account or payment is required. Contact contact@mediaplucker.com. These terms apply when you install or use the service. 2. Future paid plans We may introduce paid features or plans in the future. Free launch access is not a promise that every feature will remain free indefinitely. We will explain material changes, prices, renewal terms and applicable consumer rights before a paid service is offered. Installing or using the free version does not authorise a charge. No payment or subscription will begin without your express agreement. Any existing contractual or statutory rights remain unaffected. 3. Permitted use and ownership We grant a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the extension. The product, branding and original code remain our property; no general open-source licence is granted. Separately licensed components retain their own licences and required rights, including permitted library modification and reverse engineering for debugging those modifications. See Third-party credits. Save only material you own or are authorised to download, and comply with applicable law and website terms. The service does not grant copyright permissions or bypass DRM, paywalls or access controls. 4. Availability and required updates Compatibility depends on browsers, websites, media formats and access permissions, and can change. No percentage of all websites is guaranteed. We may add, change or retire integrations. Once a newer supported release is verified, you must update before further scanning or downloading; active downloads may finish. Browser stores deliver authenticated updates through browser mechanisms. Unpacked installations require a manual update from our identified download page. We do not fetch or execute remote extension code. 5. Limits of responsibility We must provide the service with reasonable care and skill and honour applicable statutory guarantees. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach; we are not responsible for unlawful use, source websites’ independent actions or losses caused by your failure to follow reasonable security or installation instructions. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights. 6. Changes and closure We will provide reasonable notice of material changes or planned permanent closure where practicable. Changes do not remove accrued consumer rights. Continued availability or support for every future website or browser is not guaranteed. 7. Complaints and law Send complaints to contact@mediaplucker.com with relevant details. We aim to acknowledge them within five working days. English and Welsh law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. UK consumers may bring claims in the courts of the UK country where they live. Proprietary notice and third-party rights Copyright © 2026 MediaPlucker. All rights reserved. MediaPlucker's original application code, website, branding and design are proprietary. No permission is granted to copy, redistribute, sublicense or use them to operate a competing service except with the copyright holder's written permission or as required by applicable law. End-user use is governed by the terms published at https://mediaplucker.com/terms. This notice does not replace or restrict licences and rights for third-party components. Those components retain their respective licences, attribution, source-availability and modification rights. See the bundled third-party notices, extension/licenses.html and https://mediaplucker.com/credits. In particular, the LGPL-covered MP3 encoder may be replaced with an API-compatible version. Reverse engineering necessary to debug modifications to that library is permitted. MPL-covered files remain subject to MPL-2.0.
