Downloads
Can I download images?+
Scan a page, filter the results and save selected images in their original format.
Can I export a ZIP or convert images?+
Export selected images as a ZIP, or convert locally to PNG, JPEG or WebP.
Does it work on every website?+
Compatibility depends on the website, available media and browser. Some sources are unsupported. Request a site with an example you own or have permission to download, and we’ll investigate.
Can I save creator collections?+
On supported websites, paste a creator videos URL into Collections, review the scan and queue the items you have permission to save.
Where do my downloads go?+
Files save to your browser’s Downloads folder, with a subfolder you choose in Settings. Turn off the browser’s “Ask where to save each file” setting for an uninterrupted queue.
Can I download several videos at once?+
Yes. Set one to ten simultaneous video downloads in Settings. Media conversion runs one job at a time. The browser needs to stay open, but you can close the popup.
What can I download?+
Download content you own or have permission to save, and follow applicable law and website terms. DRM-protected and live streams are unsupported. Availability in a player does not by itself grant permission to download.
Getting started
Which browsers can I use?+
The Chromium build works with desktop Chrome, Brave, Edge and Opera. Firefox has a separate build; normal installation requires a Mozilla-signed package. Store and signed-download availability is shown on the download page.
Do I need another app?+
No. Install the extension for your browser. Video processing runs in your browser, with no Python, yt-dlp or FFmpeg installation.
How do I install the extension?+
Use the download page for the current ZIP and installation steps. Store listings are not published yet. For Chrome, Brave, Edge or Opera, extract the ZIP, open the browser’s extensions page, enable Developer mode and choose Load unpacked.
Privacy & use
Is MediaPlucker free?+
Yes. Images, video and audio downloads are free at launch, with no account or daily download allowance.
Are my downloads uploaded anywhere?+
Image and video processing, queue history and filename preferences stay in your browser. The support forms send only the details you review and submit.
Help
How do I request a missing website?+
Use Request a site, enter your email, the website URL and any useful details, then complete the security check. We’ll investigate whether support can be added; it is not guaranteed.
What should I include in a problem report?+
Include the video page URL, what you expected and what happened. The extension can prefill the last page URL for you to review. If needed, enable local diagnostics and share a redacted log.
